Kirsty Allie's Home for Sale...Wow!

Recently, Kirstie Alley put her home on the market
for sale.  I made her a very "fair" offer but have yet to
hear back from her. (hmph)  :)  jk - I wish!

*If I had the money to go out and buy a small cottage
that I could decorate in any way I wanted... this would
probably come pretty close to how it would look.
It also looks like there should be a sign posted
somewhere that says...
"NO BOYS ALLOWED!"  :)

Because I am a Real Estate Agent,  let's pretend that
I was able to call her Listing Agent and get a key.  I thought
we could go for an imaginary "showing."

So, join me as we take a short walk down her driveway
towards her home...

Come on up the walkway...

I know you want to sit a spell in her beautiful Living Room,
but we have to hurry along before she gets back.

Isn't it just the coziest place ever?

Oh look!  It looks like Kirstie left us some yummy treats
in the Dining Room.  Okay, okay - maybe we can sit for
just a few minutes. We wouldn't want to get crumbs all
over the place, now would we?

Yes, girls. A Pink Ceiling!

I never thought a plethora of pastels could be so
beautiful except in an Easter Basket.

That stove! Love!

Please note the sink and vintage fixture!

More pink!

Look up!  Don't you just love the papered ceiling?

Ladies, come along through here - this is my fave room.
How I would love to have a room devoted to my love
of gardening and flowers and flower arrangement.
Look at all the vases!

Let's head over to the guest room, I know you
will love it, too.

Now let's turn around and head outside to the backyard.

For the right price, you too can have this view.

A lake right at your back door. Heaven!
Why would anyone ever want to sell this home
and move away from here?

The perfect cottage getaway!  Sigh.

Okay ladies - back to the car.  Our tour is over....

Wave good-bye to the pretty Cottage.

I hope you enjoyed your tour.  If anyone is interested
in making an Offer to Purchase, I can be reached
 by phone, email or text.

It's so pretty and she's got such a great view, Barb. I wonder why she'd want to sell it and move. I love it from the driveway to the back deck!

That was a beautiful home. I really loved all the lighting fixtures, they were so beautiful. Did you notice that beautiful lamp in the bathroom? To die for!

How exciting you got to go in there "in person"! Although it is very tastefully done and cozy, it's a little too "pink and girly" for me...not that I'm not girly but you know what I mean! But that deck and backyard with the view is stunning. How much is she asking? Not that I can buy it or anything (LOL!)

Too pink for me, too, but easily changed! Too bad you didn't get it!

I don't think I could live with all the patterns, but it is very lovely. That flower room is to die for and all the outdoor spaces are divine.

I guess this is her lake cottage. She has a large home in LA. "Nate" designed her L.A. kitchen with lime green tiles...Looked really nice...So Barb, how much do I make out the check for?
Thanks for the tour..it was great!

Did you know that her first career was an interior decorator??..

I think you said it best when you said... no boys allowed! it's cute, but really storybook... just a little too foo-foo for my south Texas tastes.. but super fun to look at!

The house is very cozy and homey! I suddenly thought about my wife and daughter when I saw the pictures. I'm sure they'd love this house. I love the view from the backdoor. The lake view is awesome! It's so relaxing to look at. I wonder why anyone would let go of such a wonderful property.

If I had the money and was able to own several homes I'd love to have this cottage and all it's vintageness!!!
I believe this is her home in Maine.

I know she has a son too. Poor guy. I like pink but it is a bit over done for me too. I don't know how he can breathe in there. But, I would love it for a get away cottage. I doubt my husband would though.

While her decorating style isn't exactly what I'd choose, the house and grounds are gorgeous. It's always so interesting to look at celebrity homes.
Thanks,
Babs

Wonderful tour of Kirsty's house!! I live in Wichita, where she has a home, and we all wonder why she would even want to live here when she has such beautiful weather in California!! I would LOVE to tour her home here too!

Barbie..why don't you buy it and redecorate it..it could use your touch. I like it but too much pink for me..the colors she has in there are cottage/shabby pink but too many patterns. That refrigerator in her kitchen looks ancient..too many sofas in living room, rug/carpet is full of wrinkles.. Go ahead, Barbie..it needs your touch! Thanks for allowing us to join your tour. That was fun! What do these movie stars do with so many houses? You can only live in one at a time! Wonder how much time she actually spends there?

You know Barbie, looking back over the photos of her cottage, she really does have unique pieces of decor there. Although I feel there's too much pink, but look again how soft her color scheme is. Do you think that is how she lives or the cottage was "staged?" I love that lamp in the bathroom..such beautiful colors..soft to the eye..Look again at the guest bedroom and look through that door into the hallway, what type of railing is that? She doesn't have a very big dining room table but I like those chair covers. I like the fact that the floor plan seems to be an open concept and appears to flow well.
