Barb,
Have fun!! I went skiing a couple of years ago with my husband. Neither one of us had ever been...Him? A natural...Me? Not so much! 30 minutes of lessons on the bunny slope and I was on my way up the mountin on a lift...looked at my husband and said...I don't feel good about this....turns out...I was right.
I spent FOUR days with my ski's in the proverbial WEDGE...as in trying to go SLOW and/or STOP! Took me DAYS to get down the mountain, what with wedging and falling and skiing off into the woods unable to stop and stuff....there was one "episode" where I had a small fit on the slopes that entailed throwing ski poles, goggles AND skis!
Needless to say....we haven't been back on the slopes since....
Tubing sounds like much more fun!

My knees have NOT been the same since that trip! I ain't EVEN lyin'
I'd much rather do the things you are going to be doing than to be out there in the cold. Have a great time!
Have a great trip Barb! I love to ski but I think I love the apres ski even more! *winks* Take lots of pix for us ok? Vanna
I have never skied and the thought of it scares the daylights out of me!! I would much rather be sitting all cozy by the fire with my cocoa!
Have a wonderful time, Barb!

Have fun Barb! Sounds like a fun get a way. I would skip the skiing too. Relax by the fire, drink plenty of warm (adult) beverages, and have fun! Kat
Looks like fun and I love doing both: skiing and relaxing by a fire drinking cocoa.
Hope you have a fab time :)
I think you will see some of the real stuff while you are on your trip. It's supposed to snow today and tonight!
Enjoy your time away! (There are bunches of great antique shops in this area along Rt. 11 if you get tired of slopeside relaxing!)
Now that sounds like my kind of ski trip!! Enjoy!
Elizabeth
