That's the date!
Between the hours of 10am-2pm, I am positive that I will be a bundle of walking, talking nerves...
at least on the inside.
On the outside... I hope I am able to hold it together long enough to impress the
HGTV folks to give me shot at the next HGTV Design Star show.
I am attending the walk-on audition. aaaaagh
So - today I started back on my diet!! What were they thinking having auditions this close after Christmas???? Are they sadists? LOL
I have to lose at least 10 more pounds. So its salad, water, running and a slice of courage.
Trying not to let negative Barb sneak in.... so please send me your positive thoughts.

I'm sending you all my positive vibes! No matter what happens with this, and I happen to think you'll do great and they must give you a shot at this because you are FAB...but anyway, no matter what, you are a true WINNER for taking the leap and trying out. That in and of itself is so much more than others will ever do! You make us all proud that you are doing this. I can think of no other person who would excite me more to see become the next DESIGN STAR! You are fabulous my dear! Wishing you all the best and may all your dreams come true!!

Hi there Barb! I'll certainly be rooting for you all the way. My only concern is that you may not be mean enough for that show! :)
Those designers get ruthless on each other! But, I know you're southern so you must have it in you somewhere to brawl with the best of them. :) ;)
Regardless of the outcome, WE ALL know how talented you are, and will continue on your journey with you. I'll be excited to hear what happens. Great luck be with you!

Thanks everyone for the sweet words of encouragement. I am excited, but just a wee bit nervous. Sue, I made up my mind during the last Design Star that I was going to do it. I know my chances are slim to none, but if I don't go for it I will always kick myself. I'm not getting any younger. :)
Yep, I know there have been some rather snarky characters in the past, but I think I can compete and hold my own and not come across the season's "bad guy." :)

How so very exciting!!! I know you have the talent!! Good luck with losing weight..keep lots of celery, carrots and fruit cut up in baggies and keep them around you so you can munch but keep those calories down!! I keep ice tea and flavored waters at hand too! Best wishes to you...I'll be watching and cheering you on!!
