Taking a Little Bloggy Break...

Hi Guys! I'm sorry I have been MIA this week. I am just a little overwhelmed at work right now. So...I am going to take a little extended Bloggy Break through this week, and hopefully I will be caught up and have more time for my favorite hobby - blogging. (That darn paying job gets in the way of ALL my fun!) :-/

I do have something exciting that happened to me over the weekend, and I promise I will blog about it and share all my pics. I met Paula Deen and her husband. They were at the casino in Tunica. I was able to talk to her and get her autograph (four times) and we had about a 30 second chat about my cookbook. Then, I chatted with her husband, Michael. He was a charmer and a hoot, too. I have pics and will tell you all about it...and my visit to the Paula Deen Store. (Oh my!)

Until then - please know I am thinking of you all and wishing each of you well. I'll talk (or should I say Blog) to you soon.

Hugs, Barb

Well, you sure know how to leave a person hanging! Can't wait to hear all about Paula. Hope you get caught up quickly. A paying job often keeps us from having fun, but gotta have the pay so we can have a little fun (or sometimes even eat!). Take care of you. laurie
