I can hardly stand the excitement...

My Babies are Coming Home Next Week !!!

Cole, Mr Grits and I are flying to Colorado next Wednesday! So, posting will be erratic.

Military Prayer
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us.Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.

So...Because I will be away...

Because we will be on a plane all day next Wednesday...and returning to North Carolina the following Wednesday....the next two "What's On Your Wall Wednesday" events will be postponed. I'm sorry....the first week was a great success. But - somehow I think everyone will understand. :-)

I will try to post pics of the Happy Homecomings! These are very emotional events, so maybe I can get some good shots.

Blessings, Barb

YAY!!! You must be so excited! My son in law returns the end of March...I am so happy about that but will miss my daughter who moved back up near us while he was away...so, mixed emotions! Probably what you're experiencing with your grandson!
Happy wishes for them all!

You go sweetie and not to worry about anything else! Reading your post I relived getting ready to meet my husband Pat when he returned from Viet Nam. He lived through Khe Sahn and came home to us. I am SO very happy for you!!! I pray every single day that they will bring all our men and women home for good.

Barb, I am so excited for you. I am sure you don't know. But, my daughter & son-in-law met while they were in the army. They are both out now. But, they are civilian contractors. My daughter is in TX. Her dh is in Iraq. So, I understand your excitment. Make sure to tell them we appreciate their serving our country. Don't worry about Walls Wed. We'll pick up where we left off when you get back. Your family is in my prayers.
Hugs, Terrie

Your home will be so quiet and lonely after Cole leaves-enjoy your last few days with him. If he left fingerprints anywhere in your home you won't want to clean them off-his final "gift" to you.
